Note: The following was in the Finnmarksposten (obituary) of William Sahl Ulich

"With old Ulich in Lebesby is one of the finest and most known men in Finnmark gone. Born in Finnmark, he worked as a young man at Konsul Robertson's job when he died. First as an assistant in Repvåg, and then as a factor in Kjelvik. About 40 years before, he bought the store, Sjjanes, in Lebesby with Greiner. Since then he also started a fish market in Sandefjore around Nordkyn. The last year, he was running the store in Tømmervik. We as friends will always think of him as a friendly and really nice man and we will miss him."

Note: Fredrik Christian Ulich took over the farm at Store Tamsøy after his father died. When Store Tamsøy was sold, the parliament had to help then. This was done on 15 may 1901. the group said that the island should be sold for 11,000 Krone (1700 dollars) they had an auction where Halvor Graven offered 12,000 Kroner (2000 Dollars)
