Lyhs, Frederike Luise (b. 1837, d. ?)

Note: I received this information from several newspaper articles written in the "Finnmark Dagbad" newspaper, written by "Ole Johan Valle" of Hammerfest, Norway. The articles were printed in 1981 over a period of many weeks. While on the inter-net, a related Ulich wrote me and gave me Ole's e-mail address. Ole wrote to me and said that he just wanted to do these articles on the Ulich family, as the Ulich family had been very prominent in Norway years ago, and he wanted to follow the family. I received these articles from a uncle of mine while I was visiting Norway, however they were in Norwegian. I was able to extract out the names of my close family and record them, but the other names and information I was not able to translate. I tried to get these articles translated many times over a period of many years. Then one day Susan Ulich Jaeger wrote to me on the inter-net and said that she had these newspaper clippings translated and printed out in a book report form. She graciously sent me a copy of the translated report.

Note: Petter lived in Vadsø, but moved to Kjæs in the Porsangerfjord in 1860 where he started a store. He was maried in Vadsø (?) to Ingeborg Serine Moe, who was born in Trondheim on May 19 1833 and baptized in the Domchurch the same year. Her parents were artillerist, Jens Holvorsen Moe and Karen Pedersdatter. They lived in Waltersveiten. Petter Dahl Ulich died in Tromsø on 16 June 1867 and was buried there on 19 June 1869. His widow then re-married at Kirstrand on 23 Oct 1872 to Ole Johan Gundersen, born around 1837 in Rørstad Salten Nordland, son of Gunder Nilsen. Both died on Altsulen. She had 2 daughters with with second marriage. Ingeborg M. Gundersen (born 1872, married to Peder Olai Olsen, who once lived in Honningsvag. but moved to Sarnes where their 14 children grew up) Peter Dahl Ulich and Ingeborg Serine Moe had 1 daughter.
