Found person on the 1865 census for the farm of Virselvmo, Lenvik, Troms, Norway. In this record it showed Katrine Olsdatter as Ole Nilsen's widowed mother living with his family. But in the Lenvik Parish records it showed his mother as Berit Thomasdatter. Ole named his first daughter Berit,after his mother, which was a usual practice. I'm wondering if the census reporter could have made a mistake?
