In the 1865 census records Caroline Carolusdatter is spelt with a K for both first and sur-name. Family is livinng on the farm of 'sollien, Lenvik, Troms, Norway

This child and child #5 Petronelle have me confused. I think the name is the same, so I would assume that the first child named Petronelli died, and then the name was used again with the next girl child. Even though the spelling is a little different. This is very common in the record keeping. But I can-not find any death dates for either, and the names were spelt a little different each time. In the records there was some un-ledgeable writing with the name. Also in the records it had a pert of a middle name "rett" Could have been Berett, Margarett, or Marette. All a simular to her mothers name of Marith. In the marriage records it says Petronelli was 25 at time of marriage in 1852. that would have had her born in 1827. However I find that more often than not the ages in the marriage records seem to be more of an approximate date, than the real date. So I am putting the marriage with child #5, born in 1832, as that seem most logic.
