Monroe said it took so much red tape to get the name corrected that he just left it in and used the surename of Hendrickson from then on. However his father and siblings used the name Henrickson. Monroe also told me that his fathers name of Henrickson is an Americanized spelling. Some of his family spells the name Henrikson, or Henriksson. Thus the reason for so many spellings of the surname.
